8Project Description: The owner along with an EIA consultant is carrying out the final estimation for a greenfield 1600 MW (2*800 MW) ultra super-critical thermal power plant. EC has been granted on 31 August 2017. The owner has proposed to export the entire power generated to Bangladesh. Currently the owner is planning to sign a power purchase agreement with Bangladesh Power Development Board in next 1-2 months. The developer will come out with an EPC contractor package soon.
8Project Event: RFQ for an EPC contractor is expected by March 2018.
