Liquidity Infusion Scheme: Large sums disbursed

8For mitigate the liquidity problems in power sector due to low power consumption due to COVID-19, the government had announced a Liquidity Infusion Scheme as part of Aatma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan
8Under the scheme, PFC Ltd. and REC Ltd. extends special long term transition loans at concessional rates to DISCOMs to clear their outstanding dues towards the purchase of power from generators
8REC & PFC have sanctioned Rs.1,35,537 crore and disbursed Rs.79,678 crore respectively to States under Liquidity Infusion Scheme upto June 2021
