Project Name: Super Thermal Power Station: Chimney Package for FGD

8Project Description: NTPC selects BHEL as a contractor on a turnkey basis for the same projects. The project requirements are RCC piles, pile cap, RCC windshield with borosilicate glass block lining system, external RCC platforms, conduit, among others. The configurations are:
The height of the chimney: 150m.
The diameter of the flue liner: 8m.
The diameter of chimney shell: 18m at top & 25m at the bottom (Approx.)
The material of flue liner and duct: Ti/C-276 clad steel or borosilicate block lining on mild steel.
Project Event:RFQ for the design and construction of the RCC chimney package for mplementation of an FGD was awarded to BHEL.
