8Project Description: The owner has canceled Package-1 of an EPC contract for design and engineering services of main civil and hydro-mechanical works in a greenfield 210 MW (2x80 MW main unit + 2x25 MW auxiliary unit) hydroelectric power project located at Nirath village, in the Shimla & Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. Re-tendering is likely in Q1 2020.Acquisition of private land is under progress and negotiations are on with land owners. Interstellar Testing Centre Pvt Ltd had prepared the final EIA report and the environment ministry nod has been received on 14th October 2019. The techno-economic clearance and forest clearance (Stage-I) have been accorded. The social impact assessment studies have been conducted by AFC India Ltd and submitted to the government of Himachal Pradesh. Meanwhile, survey work for the transmission line from powerhouse to common pooling station is under process.
8Project Event: RFQ for a package -1 main plant civil works is likely to be floated on Q1 2020. RFQs for the HM works are expected by the Q3 2020.
