8Project Description: The EPC contractor is carrying out the geotechnical investigation in in the super-critical 660 MW thermal power expansion project at its existing 1420 MW thermal power complex.The boiler and turbine will be supplied by BHEL. Currently, civil works for the main plant including FGD, SCR and other equipment related for fulfillment of MoEF norms and construction of RCC chimney including installation of all electrical items works is in progress. Tenders for the design, erection, testing, and commissioning of natural draught cooling tower expected by Oct. 2019.
