8Project Description: The DPR consultant NTPC is carrying out the detailed project report for implementation of 4 wet flue gas desulphurisation units in the UPRVUNL's thermal power station. Site surveys have been carried out. NTPC is busy in preparing the technical drawings and design of the WFGDs. As of now, NTPC has not confirmed whether to go for a gas-gas heater or a wet stack system in the FGD.
